Today it is once again time to tackle a nice little random phrases creative writing prompt. These type of writing prompts are perhaps the easiest, since so much is already given, that they are a great exercises for those suffering from the so called writer’s block. Anyway, the idea with this type of writing exercise is that you are given a set of writing phrases and you must string them together into complete story. So get to it!
The random phrases:
On the ice
Candles burning
My teddy bear is still here
A rabbit and a carrot and then some
Vinny saw and heard
Ice peak, Ice pig
Who knew?
On the long walk
Time is now
Rolling down the lane
The instructions:
Read the above phrases through a few times and try to imagine the story, poem, or flash, that would tie them all together. Once you have it, start writing and don’t stop until you have written it out completely. Try to write for at least 30 minutes, anyway.
