It’s the start of another week, at least the working part of it and I bet you’re excited about that. I, for one, am and very much so! To continue with the good habit of writing regularly we have the random phrases creative writing prompt and the idea here is that you must try and write a story or poem from a set of ten random phrases. This is a perhaps a bit easier than doing it from just random words or perhaps not. You decide!
The random phrases writing prompts:
1. Rush extraction
2. Exhausted trend
3. Wasted caller exploring
4. Utterly stale fancy
5. Interrupted awarding
6. Accompanying build
7. Celebrating versatile disregard
8. Organic privilege
9. Wading through the mail
10. Assistant bore
The instructions:
First, read through the list a few times to try and get a feel for the story that’s hiding behind the phrases. Once you have that story, start writing and don’s stop until you have a complete first draft in front of you. Use all of the phrases (in any order) and let what you have written sit for some time before going back and rereading it.
