Creative Writing Prompts: Random Phrases to a Story #8

Creative writing prompts in the form of random phrases are very similar to words writing prompts, but with the added bonus of having more than one given word to work with. Much of the pressure of being faced with an empty page is removed that way. The idea behind this type of creative writing prompts is that you are given a list of random phrases and you should use them to produce a piece of writing, whether a story, poem, flash or whatever. The only thing mandatory is that you use al of them, the rest is up to you.

The random phrases:

An unacceptable dress

An idiotic annoyance upgrades beauty

Funniest yearly discount

Multiplication comprehended implicitly throughout

Better snow

Recently out

Gain drain soon

Third save

Conform anywhere beneath

Worry violently

The instructions:

Transform the above random phrases into a complete story, poem or whatever other form of creative writing you like to pursue. Once you “see” the story in these random phrases start writing immediately and don’t stop until the first draft is complete. Let the finished product sit for awhile, then return to it and produce the second or possibly the third draft.
