Today’s writing exercise is in the form of random phrases creative writing prompts and the purpose of these is to free up your creativity and get that necessary writing practice in by giving you a set of phrases which you must then use to write a story around, which greatly aids in breaking through that writer’s block and letting you get some words down on paper.
The random phrases:
Civilization is created
The myst of morning
A cup three quarters full
Relaxation awaits
I wish it wasn’t
The leaves are wet
Candles burning
Children swimming
Onward she walked
Growing regardlessly
The instructions:
Read through the above set of random phrases then once a story begins to form around them in your mind start writing and don’t stop for at least 30 minutes. Try and finish the whole story in one sitting and use all of the above ten phrases to do so. Go back and edit the story, if you want, after some time has passed so that you may view it with fresh eyes.
