Just a quick little writing prompt today ti ensure that you don’t get too rusty in your writing skills. Today we have the random words prompt and the idea here, as you probably already know, is that I give you a list of ten randomly chosen words which you must then use to create a story, poem, flash or whatever. For writers, it is very important to write and write daily, or at least in some kind of a regular basis and doing creative writing exercise is a great way to achieve this routine. So get to it!
The words writing prompts:
1. Restart
2. Innovation
3. Morgan
4. Car
5. Quiz
6. Rename
7. Pale
8. Vacuum
9. Pray
10. Pass
The instructions:
Read the above words a few times until a story begins to form in your mind in the white spaces, so to speak. Once you feel you have it, at least the beginning of it, start writing and don’t stop until you are finished with the first draft of it. Write for at least 30 minutes and use all of the words. When you do the rewrite a few days or at least hours after you finish the first draft, you can cut some of them out.
