Enough with the words and phrases, give us a whole sentence to work with, right? OK, fine, today it is time for the story starter sentence. With this creative writing prompt, the idea is that you are given a complete sentence which is supposed to inspire you to write a whole piece of writing around. It is not necessary that you use it as the first sentence, but you can if you want to. The important thing is that you write!
The story starter sentence:
Underneath glows the pointless edge of resentment.
The instructions:
Write a story, poem or flash using the above sentence as a starting point. You may use it in anyway you like, just make sure that what you write stems from it in some way. Write for at least 30 minutes and edit later. Strive to get a compete piece of writing at the end of this exercise.
