All right, another week has passed and it is once again time for a good old creative writing prompt to help you start writing. Today I have the story starter sentence for you, which works equally well for poets as well as for writers of all kinds. But before I give you the sentence though, I would just like to remind you that you can now signup for my monthly newsletter, which will contain just the right amount of creative writing prompts and other goodies. I’m just about ready to send out the first one. And now to the sentence:
“The follower strays beside a picture.”
The instructions:
Read the sentence a few times, until it inspires a story in your mind. When that happens start writing and don’t stop for at least 30 minutes. And poets, just take the meaning of the sentence, or change the words so they fit.
Stay creative!
