Today’s exercise is yet a little different. Instead of having just a random list of unrelated words or a sentence to base a story about this creative writing exercise involves being given the FIRST SENTENCE of a story. Your story. Write anything you want, but start with this sentence:
We are just one of those couples who are happy together apart.
You can put it into quotes, as if one character is saying it to another, or just use it as part of a first person narrative, but make it the first sentence. Then write a complete story from it. Now word or time limit. You will know when you are done.
