It is once again time for the very inspiring picture writing prompts. Creative writing prompts of this type are an incredibly useful tool when in accessing the subconscious, which is, as you probably already know, where the stories come from. The picture acts as a sort of link between the conscious and the unconscious mind and since it is non-verbal it allows us to tap into put creativity on a much more personal and unique manner. So, the idea behind this type of exercise is to let the picture tell you the story. And then you just write that story.

The instructions:

As already suggested in the introduction, look at the above picture until it starts telling you a story. Once that happens, sit down to write the story right away and try to finish the whole thing in one sitting. In any case, write for at least 30 minute. Only edit the story once you have had a few days away from it.

Stay creative!
