Picture Prompts: Wooden Bridge

It’s time again for another picture writing prompt, since these do have the tendency to be the most popular and least restricting. Which is not to say that the random words, story starter sentences and the rest of the creative writing prompts found on this site are not terrific for getting us all to start writing daily making things exactly the way they are supposed to be!

With picture prompts, the object is to look at the picture until a story behind it begins to unfold and then to immediately sit down and start writing that story. Pretty simple, huh? And remember that the first draft does not have to be perfect in anyway, it just has to be. You can always go back and fix it later…in the second or the third draft. Anyway…

So look at the photo, see the story, poem or flash, then write it. It’s that simple!
