It’s the middle of the working week and to cheer you up, I have a nice picture writing prompt for you today. The idea with these type of creative writing exercises is that I show you a picture and you need to then imagine the story that the picture could have been taken out of. Simple stuff, and oh so rewarding.
The picture writing prompt:
The instructions:
Look at the above image and try to lose yourself in it, try to imagine that you or one of your characters in the setting depicted in the picture. Then try to imagine the story that holds it all. Once you have the story in mind, start writing and write for at least thirty minutes. At the end of this writing session you should have a rough draft of a story or poem to work on and perfect later.
Stay creative!
