Time to finish off the week of diligently getting into the habit of writing at least every other day and to do this I have a nice picture writing prompts for you today. The idea here is that you let the picture below inspire you to write a story or poem. The image acts as a sort of gateway between you and your subconscious where all those stories you are trying to tell reside. And coaxing them out in this way, and by doing all the rest of the creative writing prompts offered on this site, really works!

As you are most likely used to by now, this type of writing exercise begins with looking at the above image until a story arising from it starts to form in your mind. Once that happens, start writing and write for at least 30 minutes. You should come away from this exercise with a complete first draft, something that you can work on later and expand.
