As an end of the week treat we have a lovely picture writing prompts exercise. I love these, since it is sometimes so much easier to find a story in a picture than it is in random words. Hey, I guess pictures really are worth a thousand words. Anyway, the aim of this writing exercise is that I give you an image and you must use it to imagine and then write a story, poem, flash or whatever. Pretty easy. So let’s just get started.
The picture writing prompt:
The instructions:
Let the above image guide you into a story. Look at it for as long as it takes to get the first inklings of a story that is going on in it and beyond it’s edges. Once that happens sit down and start writing immediately. Write for at least 30 minutes and try to have a rough draft all finished by the time you stop.
Stay creative!
