Picture Writing Prompts: Welcoming

January 11, 2010

in Picture Prompts

It’s the start of another week and, with that, time for another writing exercise. Today we have one of the picture writing prompts variety and the goal here is to allow ourselves to be inspired by a single picture and thus allowing it to allow us to write an entire story. It really is much easier than it looks, so jump right in and let’s get started.

The picture writing prompt:

The instructions:

Well, as per usual, start with allowing the picture to tell you a story and then, once that is done, open up your word processor or journal and start writing. Write for at least 30 minutes and then set what you have written aside for some time, allowing it to rest, before going on to edit it.

Stay creative!
